The World Food Forum will focus on the theme, ‘Good Food for All, for Today and Tomorrow’. The event aims to mobilize people of all ages from around the world to spark holistic, strategic, and at-scale sustainable agrifood systems transformation.

The event is a youth-led movement and network that aims to transform agrifood systems. The movement recognizes that every person on the planet needs good food to thrive, yet agrifood systems are facing increasing pressure, including from biodiversity loss, climate change, deforestation, and soil degradation.

The event will focus on four tracks: a youth assembly to empower and connect young agents of change towards a sustainable global food systems; an innovation lab to inspire innovation to end hunger and transform food systems through global competitions and education to encourage behavior change; education to unite schools and youth groups to take action; and culture to bring together the world’s youth to inspire action to end hunger and transform food systems.

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN’s (FAO) Youth Initiative supports the Forum in partnership with a global network of organizations, including the UN World Food Programme’s (WFP) Youth Network, the UN Office of the Secretary-General’s Envoy on Youth, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the International Labour Organization (ILO), the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, (UNESCO), the UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the UN Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), UN Women, the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC), and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
