As part of the celebrations of the International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development 2017, the Astana EXPO 2017 and the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) are organizing the World Conference on Tourism and Future Energy: Unlocking low-carbon growth opportunities. The Conference aims to stimulate discussion among industry leaders, entrepreneurs, financiers and policy makers, as well as to explore opportunities and innovative solutions for future energy in the global tourism sector to contribute to low-carbon growth.
