This workshop, organized by the Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization (ACTO) and the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), with financial assistance from the Governments of Germany and the Netherlands, will examine a common strategy for protecting the biodiversity of the eight ACTO member countries: Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Peru, Suriname and Venezuela.
