UNGA President Maria Fernanda Espinosa Garces will organize a high-level event on 'Women in Power' on the occasion of the 63rd session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW 63). The event is dedicated to the promotion of women in leadership.

Espinosa first announced the event in October 2018, and provided the concept note and preliminary programme in this letter to Member States in November 2018.
