The webinar themed, ‘What to Expect at the HLPF? Building Momentum Towards the SDG Summit and Beyond,’ will discuss expectations for the 2023 High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) and review findings from two reports: the Global Sustainable Development Report 2023; and the report by the High-Level Advisory Board on Effective Multilateralism (HLAB).
The 2023 HLPF falls mid-way through implementation of the 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development and will support the mid-term review of the implementation of the SDGs. The webinar will explore linkages with the 2023 SDG Summit, the HLPF to be convened under the auspices of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) in September 2023, and the 2024 Summit of the Future.
