The UNIDO global forum aims to promote dialogue among governments, development agencies and industry actors from developed and developing countries on strategies for inclusive and sustainable industrial development. The forum will serve as a platform for exchanging best practices and will showcase UNIDO's work in this area. The concept of inclusive and sustainable industrial development was endorsed by UNIDO Member States at the 15th session of the Organization’s General Conference held in Lima, Peru, in December 2013, in its 'Lima Declaration'.
