The special high-level event of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) and the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) on the theme, ‘The Doha Programme of Action as an Accelerator of the Implementation of the 2030 Agenda,’ aims to highlight the transformative agenda of the Programme of Action, and to serve as a building block towards the second part of the Fifth UN Conference on the Least Developed Countries (LDC5). The Doha Programme of Action for the Least Developed Countries for the Decade 2022-2031 was adopted on 17 March 2022 during the first part of the LDC5 Conference.
