The UN General Assembly (UNGA) High-level Meeting on Pandemic Prevention, Preparedness and Response aims to further mobilize political momentum, including through the integration of a multisectoral approach towards pandemic prevention, preparedness, and response, given the multifaceted consequences of pandemics.

The Meeting will be convened by the UNGA President in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) on 20 September 2023, on the second day of the general debate of the Assembly at its 78th session. It will consist of an opening segment, a plenary segment for general discussion, two multi-stakeholder panels, and a brief closing segment.
