The UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) Resource Management Week will bring together leaders, experts, and stakeholders in resource management to discuss sustainable development challenges and opportunities. The event’s theme, ‘Assuring Sustainability in Resource Management,’ will focus on the UN Framework Classification for Resources (UNFC) and the UN Resource Management System (UNRMS) and their role in resource management.
The event will include the 15th session of the UNECE Expert Group on Resource Management (EGRM-15), alongside seminars, workshops, and short courses on a range of environmental and social topics. Participants will discuss: circularity, waste reduction, and recycling; responsible resource management, with a focus on responsibility to the planet, circularity, service orientation, and value addition; and global initiatives and case studies.
