The UN Global Compact Leaders Summit 2023 will bring together business leaders, UN officials, government leaders, SDG stakeholders, and civil society professionals to review the private sector’s contribution to advancing the SDGs. The Summit will convene alongside the SDG Summit, during the UN General Assembly (UNGA) high-level week.
The day-long event will address business leadership during converging crises of biodiversity loss and climate change, worsening social and economic corruption, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the war in Ukraine. The event aims to inspire and challenge organizations to ambitious, credible, and measurable targets aligned with calls to action in five areas where the private sector is best positioned to drive progress across all 17 SDGs: living wage; climate change; water stewardship; gender equality; and SDG investments.
