The preparatory process for the global compact for safe, orderly and regular migration includes informal interactive multi-stakeholder hearings. The third hearing is scheduled to convene in New York, US, on 18 December 2017. The UN General Assembly President released the provisional agenda on 30 November, with a more detailed programme expected to follow.
