Large wastewater treatment plants are the most important contributors to water quality improvement worldwide. With increasing population in congested urban areas, these plants have become essential to protect surface and ground water for drinking water supply. This conference aims to promote the exchange of experience and knowledge in wastewater treatment between designers, managers, operators and scientists on an international level.
