The Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) has announced that a second signing ceremony for the Nagoya-Kuala Lumpur Protocol on Liability and Redress will be held 11 May 2011 at UN Headquarters, New York, during the High-level Segment of the nineteenth session of the UN Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD). Parties to the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety who wish to sign the Supplementary Protocol at this occasion are asked to contact the UN Treaty Section for the necessary arrangements.
