19-20 October 2023 Nairobi, Kenya
Resumed Second Part of the UN Biodiversity Conference (CBD COP 15)

During the UN Biodiversity Conference in December 2022 (CBD COP 15), delegates were unable to finalize the Central and Eastern European (CEE) nominations for the Bureau. Following consultations, it was decided to suspend the meeting, so that the term of the current Bureau is extended until COP 15 can be resumed.

The resumed sessions of the second part of the 15th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP) to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), the tenth meeting of the COP serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety, and the fourth meeting of the COP serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Nagoya Protocol on Access to Genetic Resources and the Fair and Equitable Sharing of Benefits Arising from their Utilization will convene from 19-20 October in Nairobi, Kenya.
