The Race to Zero November Dialogues is a series of virtual dialogues that will take place on climate-related topics, and which aim to keep the momentum going on the work on climate change despite the global COVID-19 pandemic.
The Dialogues are being organized by the High-Level Champions for Global Climate Action and aim to:
- reflect on the progress in mitigation and adaptation made by non-Party stakeholders during a challenging 2020; and
- create enabling conditions for crossing ten tipping points toward systems transformation alongside national enhancement of nationally determined contributions (NDCs) and the development of long-term strategies.
Each virtual dialogue is to be organized by a key partner, under an umbrella programme curated by the High-Level Champions. The dialogues will be guided by the overarching narrative of the High-Level Champions.
Race To Zero is a global campaign to rally leadership and support from businesses, cities, regions, investors for a healthy, resilient, zero carbon recovery that prevents future threats, creates decent jobs, and unlocks inclusive, sustainable growth.
