The UN General Assembly set out the modalities for the international meeting titled 'Stockholm+50: a healthy planet for the prosperity of all – our responsibility, our opportunity,’ which is scheduled to convene from 2-3 June 2022 in Stockholm, Sweden. That resolution (A/RES/75/326 of September 2021) mandates the UNGA President to convene a one-day preparatory meeting to prepare for each leadership dialogue and for other aspects of Stockholm+50. The programme for the preparatory meeting is available here.

The topics of the dialogues will be:

• Leadership Dialogue 1: Reflecting on the urgent need for actions to achieve a healthy planet and prosperity for all;
• Leadership Dialogue 2: Achieving a sustainable and inclusive recovery from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic; 
• Leadership Dialogue 3: Accelerating the implementation of the environmental dimension of sustainable development in the context of the decade of action and delivery for sustainable development.

The governments of Kenya and Sweden will serve as co-hosts of the international meeting, and will be co-chairs of the preparatory meeting.
