The Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM) and the Mission Innovation Ministerial (MI) are parallel collaborations led by the energy ministers of the G20 and Nordic countries. The Third Mission Innovation Ministerial (MI3) will take place at Malmö Live on 23 May 2018. The Ninth Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM9) will take place in Copenhagen from 22-24 May.

The CEM consists of 24 countries and the EU, who together account for 90% of all investment in clean energy in the world and 75% of global GHG emissions. CEM focuses on practical co-operation, the exchange of good ideas and experiences within green solutions and the involvement of the private sector.
