Taking place in conjunction with the 8th Ecosystem Services Conference, this workshop aims to contribute to improved decision making that takes into account the impacts and dependencies between human systems and nature. The workshop will introduce a draft protocol that aims to provide a standardized framework that can be applied in different sectors and locations, prior to its release for broader consultations. Among other issues, participants will discuss the scope, structure, content and application process for the protocol, as well as practical examples obtained through pilot-testing.
