Launch of Sustainable Development Goals Report 2024

The UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) will launch the Sustainable Development Goals Report 2024. The annual SDG report reviews progress on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and estimates progress on each Goal and its associated targets.

The 2024 report showcases areas of progress, including reducing child mortality, preventing HIV infection, and access to energy and mobile broadband. The report also identifies areas where accelerated action is needed, such as climate change, peace and security, and inequalities among countries.

DESA’s Statistics Division prepares the report annually in collaboration with over 50 international and regional organizations. The report aims to serve as a resource by providing the latest data and evidence for developing solutions and recommendations to advance SDG progress.
