The Inter-agency and Expert Group on SDG Indicators (IAEG-SDGs) will host a virtual meeting on the theme, ‘Data, COVID-19 and the SDGs.’ The meeting is open to all countries, international and regional agencies and entities, and other stakeholders.
The meeting will include sessions on ‘Data, COVID-19 and the SDGs’ and ‘SDG Progress and Challenges: High-level Political Forum (HLPF) Goals under review.’
Created by the UN Statistical Commission, IAEG-SDGs is composed of UN Member States and includes regional and international agencies as observers. It is tasked with developing and implementing the global indicator framework for the Goals and targets of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
