The Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) Stakeholder Days will take place ahead of the eighth session of the IPBES plenary (IPBES-8), to provide a platform for in-depth dialogue between IPBES and its stakeholder community.

Organized by the IPBES Secretariat, together with the Open-ended Network of IPBES Stakeholders (ONet) and the International Indigenous Forum on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IIFBES), the Stakeholder Days will take place virtually from 3-9 June. Stakeholder Days are organized in advance of each IPBES Plenary session to provide the opportunity for a wide range of interested organizations to get updates on the IPBES process and to discuss their engagement in IPBES through the informal exchange of views on specific aspects of the Plenary session’s agenda.
