International Parliamentary Conference on Post-2015 Development Agenda

The International Parliamentary Conference on the Post-2015 Development Agenda (IPCP2015) will take place on 26-28 November, under the theme 'Placing Parliamentarians at the Centre of Global Development'. The Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA UK), supported by the UN Development Programme (UNDP), will host the conference, giving 80 international parliamentarians the chance to engage with experts from NGOs, civil society and academia, and to play a greater role in ensuring the successful development, implementation and longevity of the post-2015 goals. In addition, CPA UK and VSO will hold an event on 25 November – the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women – addressing gender equality and women's empowerment in the successor agenda to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
