The International Disaster Conference and Expo 2015, organized by the US Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), together with the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM), will focus on issues relating to disaster preparation, response, recovery and mitigation on a global scale, in particular emergency management, homeland security, first response and loss mitigation, among others. The conference aims to create opportunities for public and private sector engagement, and discussions relating to policy, lessons learned, best practices and forward thinking.
