This event will explore what forests can contribute to achieving the EU’s target of reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by at least 55% by 2030 and to become climate neutral by 2050.

Organized by ThinkForest, a European high-level forum on the future of forests, the webinar will consider:

• how much forest-based activities can contribute to climate change mitigation;
• the role of policies; and
• how to maximize forest-based climate change mitigation nationally and locally.
