The High-level Meeting on Sustainable Transport will convene in April 2024. The event will contribute to ongoing efforts to achieve peace, prosperity, progress, and sustainability for all, in line with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The President of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) announced plans to organize a series of back-to-back events as part of a Sustainability Week. The UNGA President highlighted the importance of thematic debates to ensure high-level attendance and progress related to ‘Revitalization of the work of the General Assembly’ (Resolution 77/335). The events will also contribute to the Summit for the Future.
