The High-level Dialogue on Energy: Energy Action Days will bring together representatives from businesses, cities, foundations, youth and other civil society organizations to announce their own Energy Compact commitments and mobilize partnerships for transformative action.
The Energy Action Days are being convened by UN Secretary-General António Guterres ahead of the High-level Dialogue on Energy, which is taking place on 24 September 2021. The first day of the event (22 September) will be held on the theme “the power of SDG7 to create a better future for people and planet;” and the second day (23 September) will be held on the theme “Let's get it done – catalytic finance for universal energy access and advancing the energy transition.”
