The Group of 77 and China (G77) will hold a retreat on the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20) for Permanent Representatives of members of the G77. The retreat has three objectives: to mobilize broader engagement by developing countries in the preparatory process; to generate concrete ideas for achieving the objectives of the Conference; and to foster a better understanding of the two themes of the Conference.
