The First Islands Water Congress will convene under the theme, ‘Freshwater and Islands: Administration, Collaboration, and Innovation’.

The International Water Resources Association (IWRA) will organize the conference, which will be hosted by the Faroese Geological Survey. The IWRA organizes a congress every two years on different islands with the aim of developing a body of learning to boost freshwater opportunities and advance solutions to freshwater challenges.
