The Finance in Common Summit will address the role of public development banks (PDBs) in reconciling short-term countercyclical responses with sustainable recovery measures that will have a long-term impact on the planet and societies.

By reconciling the entire finance community in support of common action for climate and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Finance in Common Summit will be a key milestone on the way to the crucial events of 2021, notably the UNFCCC COP26, the CBD COP15 and the Generation Equality Forum.

This Summit is organized under the high patronage of Emmanuel Macron, President, France, and with the participation of UN Secretary-General António Guterres. The Finance in Common Summit is an initiative of the World Federation of Development Finance Institutions (WFDFI) and the International Development Finance Club (IDFC) and will take place during the 3rd Paris Peace Forum. It is convened by the Agence française de développement (AFD).
