Expanding Productive Capacity for Achieving the SDGs

The Committee for Development Policy (CDP) is organizing a panel discussion on ‘Expanding Productive Capacity for Achieving the SDGs'. The event will present CDP perspectives on how the least developed countries (LDCs) and other developing countries can expand their productive capacity to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Panelists will discuss: policy recommendations, such as building governance capabilities; investments in human capacities and social protection; growth-oriented macroeconomic and financial policies; new industrial policies that take into account the particular conditions of LDCs; and international support measures for LDCs, including aid for trade and preferential market access.
