Evidence for Action: Aligning the Climate and SDG Agendas

The online international research symposium “Evidence for Action: Aligning the Climate and SDG Agendas” aims to provide a platform to discuss and debate different ways to more closely align the global efforts underway to achieve climate goals under the Paris Agreement and implement the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The symposium is being organized by the Sussex Sustainability Research Programme (SSRP), a joint initiative between the University of Sussex and the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), together with the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development (CISD) at Utrecht University, the International Centre for Climate Change and Development (ICCCSD), and other national and international partners. It will cover the following topics:

  • Climate Adaptation and the SDGs;
  • Climate and Environmental Justice;
  • Climate and Health; and
  • Green Recovery and the Transition to Sustainability.
