CO2 Solutions: Ocean Carbon Storage Options

The event “CO2 Solutions: Ocean Carbon Storage Options” is the last in the discussion series “Oxford Net Zero: Climate in the Balance.” The talk will consider the various approaches being proposed to store and preserve carbon dioxide (CO2) in the ocean, and assess the challenges and research hurdles for their implementation in the future.

The Oxford Net Zero initiative is bringing together leading academics from across the University of Oxford to focus on how “net zero” can be achieved. The discussion series aims to showcase the diversity of net zero research at Oxford, and point to the burning questions that need to be answered in the race to halt the climate crisis.
