29 May - 2 June 2023 Bangkok (Krung Thep), Thailand
Climate and Clean Air Conference 2023

The Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) and the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) will host the Climate and Clean Air Conference 2023: Air Quality Action Week. The event will bring together government representatives, intergovernmental bodies, donors, civil society organizations (CSOs), and other stakeholders from the Asia-Pacific region and beyond to identify new opportunities and facilitate cooperation and knowledge exchange to address air pollution and its adverse impacts on climate, development, environment, and public health.

The week-long event will feature plenary and breakout sessions on air pollution and its impact on climate change. The sessions will focus on: clean air success stories from cities and national and regional levels; best practices to support a pollution-free economy and enhance stakeholder awareness and technological and industrial solutions for air quality management; and integrated planning and multi-stakeholder cooperation.

The CCAC is a voluntary international coalition of governments, international organizations, the private sector, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). It aims to reduce short-lived climate pollutants (SLCP) emissions, avoid millions of premature deaths, promote food and energy security, and address near-term climate change.
