Clean Energy Ministerial 8 (CEM8)

The eighth Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM8) will be hosted by China and will take place in Beijing, China, from 6-8 June 2017. The agenda is expected to include a technology showcase, side events, and a public-private action day. The Clean Energy Ministerial is a high-level global forum to promote policies and programs that advance clean energy technology, to share lessons learned and best practices, and to encourage the transition to a global clean energy economy. Initiatives are based on areas of common interest among participating governments and other stakeholders. Current CEM members are Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Denmark, the European Commission, Finland, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Norway, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
