Central American Workshop on Agriculture, Environment and Climate Change

The Interamerican Institute for Cooperation on Agricuture (IICA), the Central American Agriculture Council (CAC), the French Institute of Central America (IFAC), France's French Agricultural Research Centre for International Development (CIRAD), the UN Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), and UNEP co-organized the workshop “Perspective of Central America Toward COP21”. The morning session of the first day will be videocast on the web at http://www.iica.int/Esp/organizacion/LTGC/ForosTecnicos/Paginas/Foro3-2015.aspx#tabs4, while the rest will feature technical presentations by specialists, followed by panel discussions aimed at exchanging experiences and initiatives in the region aimed at adapting agriculture to climate change and mitigating the sector's greenhouse gas emissions.
