The Asia-Pacific Climate Change Adaptation Network (APAN) supports adaptation actors in the region with knowledge for designing and implementing adaptation measures, building capacity to access technologies and finance, and integrating climate change adaptation into policies, strategies, and plans towards building climate-resilient and sustainable human systems, ecosystems, and economies. APAN was developed and launched by the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) in 2009 under the Global Adaptation Network and is the first regional adaptation network.
The 8th APAN Forum will be hosted by the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Korea, the Korea Environment Institute – Korea Adaptation Center for Climate Change, and Incheon Metropolitan City as part of the Korea Global Adaptation Week 2023.
