Climate2020 Conference

CLIMATE2020 is a 100% carbon neutral online climate conference organized by the Research and Transfer Centre Sustainability and Climate Impact Management (FTZ-NK) of the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences in Germany. 

The core mission of this e-conference is to communicate the current research results on climate change and its consequences. In the spirit of SDG 13 (climate action), CLIMATE2020 provides scientific information on climate change and biodiversity-related research, concrete projects, initiatives and strategies implemented across different continents, in landlocked countries as well as on small islands.

Specific themes to be addressed include:

  • Resilience and Capacity Building;
  • Intelligent Climate Policy and Governance;
  • Education, Awareness and Adaptation;
  • Climate Finance and Access to Funding;
  • Intelligent Climate Planning, Small Islands and Developing Countries; and
  • Climate Change as a Threat to Biodiversity.
