The 74th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) will take place in March 2022.

The Standing Committee provides policy guidance to the Secretariat on the implementation of the Convention, oversees the management of the Secretariat’s budget, and it oversees and coordinates the work of other committees and working groups.

This meeting will feed into the deliberations at the 19th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (CoP 19) to CITES, which will take place from 14-25 November 2022 in Panama City, Panama.
