The 16th meeting of the Chemical Review Committee (CRC-16) will review chemicals and pesticide formulations for possible listing under Annex III of the Rotterdam Convention.

Agenda items for this meeting of the Committee include the draft decision guidance document for decabromodiphenyl ether as well as notification of final regulatory action forwarded by the Secretariat, in accordance to the criteria set out in Annex II to the Convention, for Perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), its salts and PFOA-related compounds, developed by the intersessional drafting group.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this meeting of the Chemical Review Committee will be held online.

CRC-16 was expected to convene back-to-back with the 16th meeting of the Persistent Organic Pollutants Review Committee (POPRC-16).
