The 13th meeting of the Technology Executive Committee (TEC 13) has on its agenda, inter alia: overview of intended nationally determined contributions (INDCs); outlook of the Marrakech Climate Change Conference 2016; matters relating to the Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN); technology needs assessments (TNAs); climate technology financing; mitigation; innovation and research, development and demonstration; emerging and cross-cutting issues; joint annual report of the TEC and the CTCN for 2016; preparation of the joint annual report for submission to the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Paris Agreement (CMA); and communication and outreach activities.The TEC is the policy component of the Technology Mechanism under the UNFCCC and was established in 2010 to facilitate enhanced action on climate technology development and transfer.
