The co-facilitators of the negotiations on the Ministerial Declaration of the high-level segment of the 2025 session of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and the UN High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) have circulated a revised draft of the outcome document. Line-by-line, text-based negotiations are envisioned to take place during the third informal consultation on 11 and 12 May 2026.

In a letter dated 1 May 2026, Permanent Representative of Albania Suela Janina and Permanent Representative of Sierra Leone Michael Imran Kanu thank Member States for their “active and constructive engagement” on the zero draft during the second informal consultation on 17 April 2026. They note that the revised draft builds on these contributions, as well as on additional written inputs provided.
