The CCAFS issued a publication to promote climate-smart villages in Myanmar.
A NAP Regional Training Workshop for Asia on ‘Mainstreaming Climate Change Adaptation into Water Resources,’ organized by the NAP Global Support Programme (NAP-GSP) together with UN and local partners, convened in Seoul, Republic of Korea, from 13-16 September 2017. The workshop sought to enhance the ability of Asian governments to mainstream adaptation into water resources and build resilience. It highlighted, among other issues: adaptation under the UNFCCC; the policy support system for water-related Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDGs 1 (no poverty), 2 (zero hunger), 6 (clean water and sanitation), 11 (sustainable cities and communities) and 15 (life on land); the use of climate information in flood and drought risk evaluations; and the food-water-energy nexus in the context of NAPs.
