The UNFF 10 Bureau Chair requests Member States to provide their substantive submissions on forest financing by 30 April 2012 and on the post-2015 agenda by 30 September 2012.
April 2012: The Bureau of the tenth session of the UN Forum on Forests (UNFF 10), meeting on 28 March 2012 in New York, made a number of decisions in preparation for UNFF 10, to be held in 2013 in Turkey.The Bureau decided to extend the deadline for country’s substantive submissions on forest financing to the UNFF Secretariat to 30 April 2012. The Bureau has also decided to solicit views and input from member states of the UNFF on key issues that should be placed on the UN’s post-2015 agenda, to be discussed under the auspices of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) in 2013.
