UNFF 10 Agenda Released

The agenda for next year's UNFF meeting focuses on stakeholder participants and collaboration as well as issues related forests and economic development.

In particular, the agenda includes: forests products and services, national forest programmes and related policies and strategies, reducing risks and impacts of disasters, and the benefits of forests and trees to urban communities.

October 2012: The Secretariat of the UN Forum on Forests (UNFF) has released the agenda for its 10th meeting (UNFF 10), which will be held from 8-19 April 2013, in Istanbul, Turkey.

In addition to procedural issues, the agenda contains items on forests products and services, national forest programmes and related policies and strategies, reducing risks and impacts of disasters, and the benefits of forests and trees to urban communities.

The agenda also includes a multi-stakeholder dialogue and discussions on coordination and collaboration, particularly with regard to the Collaborate Partnership on Forests (CPF).
