UNFCCC Secretariat Releases Switzerland’s REDD Submission

27 May 2009: Under the agenda item on reducing emissions from deforestation in developing countries (REDD): approaches to stimulate action, the UNFCCC Secretariat has released an addendum to the document on issues relating to indigenous people and local communities for the development and application of methodologies, which contains a submission from Switzerland (FCCC/SBSTA/2009/MISC.1/Add.2).

The document will be examined by the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA) at its 30th session, scheduled to take place from 1-10 June 2009, in Bonn, Germany. [The Addendum]
