24 February 2010: The UNFCCC Secretariat has released a note informing parties, observer States and observer organizations that the 11th session of the Ad Hoc Working Group on Further Commitments for Annex I Parties under the Kyoto Protocol (AWG-KP 11) and the ninth session of the Ad Hoc Working Group on Long-term Cooperative Action under the Convention (AWG-LCA 9) will take place from 9-11 April 2010, in Bonn, Germany.
The information note also indicates that the Bureau of the 15th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 15) and of the fifth session of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (COP/MOP 5), which met on 22 February 2010, recommended that the two sessions be preceded by preparatory meetings of the Group of 77 and China, the African Group and the small island developing States (SIDS) and the least developed countries (LDCs) on 8 April.
