31 May 2009: The UNFCCC Secretariat has released two documents on party submissions, which will be considered by the sixth session of the Ad Hoc Working Group on Long-term Cooperative Action under the Convention (AWG-LCA) in June 2009. The first contains submissions by Australia, Norway, Japan and the US on ideas and proposals on the elements contained in paragraph 1 of the Bali Action Plan (FCCC/AWGLCA/2009/MISC.4/Add.2).
The second document (FCCC/KP/AWG/2009/MISC.8/Add.1) contains a submission by Australia on further views and proposals relating to a proposal for amendments to the Kyoto Protocol pursuant to its Article 3, paragraph 9, and a text on other issues outlined in document FCCC/KP/AWG/2008/8.
