20 November 2009: The UNFCCC Secretariat has released the provisional annotated agenda (FCCC/KP/AWG/2009/15) for the tenth session of the Ad Hoc Working Group on Further Commitments for Annex I Parties under the Kyoto Protocol (AWG-KP 10). The AWG- KP 10, which will convene from 7-18 December 2009 in Copenhagen, Denmark, in conjunction with the fifth Meeting of the Parties serving as the Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocolto the Kyoto Protocol (COP/MOP 5), will consider, inter alia: further commitments for Annex I Parties under the Kyoto Protocol; and the report of the AWG-KP to COP/MOP 5.

The UNFCCC Secretariat has also released the Report (FCCC/AWGLCA/2009/14) of the seventh session of the Ad Hoc Working Group on Long-term Cooperative Action under the Convention (AWG-LCA 7), which was held in Bangkok from 28 September-9 October 2009, and in Barcelona from 2-6 November 2009. The annexes to the report contain a compilation of text on: a shared vision for long-term cooperative action; enhanced action on adaptation and its associated means of implementation; enhanced action on mitigation and its associated means of implementation; enhanced action on the provision of financial resources and investment; enhanced action on development and transfer of technology; and enhanced action on capacity-building.
