June 2009: The UNFCCC Secretariat has released a fact sheet on the Nairobi Framework, which was adopted in 2006 and launched by then-UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan.

The Framework aims to help developing countries, especially those in sub-Saharan Africa, to improve their level of participation in the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) and enhance the CDM’s geographical scope. The Fact sheet contains sections on: the focus of the Nairobi Framework; supporting CDM project opportunities on the web; and expanding the Nairobi Framework. [The Factsheet]
