© UNFCCC22 October 2009: The UNFCCC Secretariat has published a submission (FCCC/SBSTA/2009/MISC.10) by Sweden on behalf of the European Community and its member States on efforts undertaken to monitor and evaluate the implementation of adaptation projects, policies and programmes and the costs and effectiveness of completed projects, policies and programmes, and views on lessons learned, good practices, gaps and needs.

This submission will be considered by the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA) at its 31st session. Experiences and approaches from Finland, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK are contained in the document.
Information (FCCC/SBSTA/2009/MISC.9) on efforts undertaken, including methods used, to assess the costs and benefits of adaptation options, as well as views on lessons learned, good practices, gaps and needs have been received from the Russian Federation and Sweden on behalf of the EU.
